About the role
We are looking for an experienced Operations & Project Lead who can take ownership of how work gets planned, organised, coordinated, and delivered across Gownex.
You will help build the systems that keep our business running smoothly and ensure that projects move from goals and plans to completed work.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for projects, guiding people, solving problems, and improving how things work without waiting for someone to tell you every next step.
What you will own
Operations: Build and improve the processes, systems, and working methods needed to run the business effectively.
Project delivery: Manage multiple projects with different goals, deadlines, resources, and levels of risk.
Planning and coordination: Turn priorities into clear plans, assign responsibilities, organise resources, and keep work moving.
People and partners: Coordinate and guide team members and external partners, follow up on commitments, review work quality, and resolve delivery problems.
Problem-solving: Anticipate risks, identify delays and gaps, make sound decisions, and take action before issues become bigger problems.
Systems and tools: Use suitable digital tools, automation, and AI to reduce unnecessary work, improve accuracy, and make delivery more reliable.
Continuous improvement: Review performance, identify what is not working, and implement practical changes that improve results.

Compensation
Gownex is an early-stage business and cannot currently pay salaries at market rates. Compensation details will be disclosed during the interview.
